The angle between a chord and a tangent.

Theorem. The angle between a chord and a tangent of a circle is equal to half the central angle subtending the arc of that chord.
Corollary. The angle between a chord and a tangent of a circle is equal to any inscribed angle subtending the arc of that chord.
The angle between a chord and a tangent can be regarded as an extreme (limit) case of the inscribed angle.
