Windows 3.1

In the nineties, a new set of Microsoft Windows appeared with remarkable boost. The old MS-DOS.exe disappeared, now replaced with a Program Manager able to contain several windows inside it. Maybe what made this Windows version gain traction is the fact that icons, instead of text-only, appeared for the first time attached to files and applications.
