Kamala Harris has once again dusted off her "copy and paste" playbook, this time with a proposal that has already made its rounds—and flopped!

Harris recently announced a $25K down payment assistance plan for first-time homebuyers, met with cheers from an unsuspecting crowd.

But hold on, folks, let’s not get carried away.

This so-called "new" proposal?

It’s just a recycled idea from 2021.

That's right—Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) already pitched the same plan under the Downpayment Toward Equity Act.

The bill aimed to provide $25,000 in direct assistance to first-time, first-generation homebuyers, but guess what?

Even the Democrats couldn’t agree on it, and it died in committee.

Senate Banking Chair Sherrod Brown (D-OH) co-sponsored Warnock's plan, but with dramatically different price tags floating around and fierce competition from a separate $15K tax credit proposal by Senate Finance Chair Ron Wyden (D-OR), the whole thing fell apart.

Critics warned that the plan could worsen the racial wealth divide by driving up home prices.

So, Harris’s latest "big idea" is nothing but a rehashed, failed attempt that even her own party couldn’t get behind.

Maybe it’s time for some original thinking instead of recycling duds, Kamala!
