The pilot episode of Rod Serling's classic sci-fi television series, "Where Is Everybody?" stars Earl Holliman as a man walking down a country road and realizing that he can't remember who he is or how he got there. His efforts to locate other people are unsuccessful, and he begins to panic.

Most episodes of THE TWILIGHT ZONE were filmed at MGM, but this one was shot on the Courthouse Square backlot at Universal Studios. It includes the original voiceover by newsreel narrator Westbrook Van Voorhis (which had been replaced with Rod Serling's own narration by the time the show went to air), and is preceded by Serling's humorous seven-minute pitch to advertisers.
