Fluffy, Flavorful, and From Scratch: Sourdough Banana Pancakes

Sourdough discard just got a whole lot tastier! 🍌🥞 These fluffy, flavorful banana pancakes are the perfect way to use up that extra starter. A whole cup worths of it! Perfect for a lazy weekend morning. Most of the ingredients are staples you more than likely have already.

So youll need:

2 medium ripe bananas
3⁄4 cup whole milk
1 large eggs
1 cup sourdough discard
1 tsp sea salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup of unbleached all purpose flour

Instructions:
1. Combine: Mash bananas. Mix wet ingredients together. Combine dry ingredients separately. Lastly, merge wet and dry mixtures.
2. Cook: Heat a skillet over medium-low heat with butter. Pour 1/3 cup of batter onto the hot skillet. Cook for 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

Enjoy with syrup or eat as is!
