Netflix is Done with Zack Snyder

Netflix appears ready to cut ties with director Zack Snyder following the abysmal reception of his sci-fi epic Rebel Moon.

Zack Snyder previously found a home with Netflix following him being fired by DC and Warner Bors. after his Snyderverse never took off. His first entry for Netflix, Army of the Dead, saw marginal success which he followed up with Rebel Moon; Snyder’s pitch to Netflix as their version of Star Wars. Originally conceived of as an expanding sci-fi fantasy universe with planned sequels and spin-offs. However, the high cost and mediocre take has seemed to cause the streaming giant to cut ties with the director if his next planned movie Twilight of the Gods doesn’t perform.
