AR-0093: Right before he gave Spanish horror new life in the 1970s with his legendary "Blind Dead" films, Spanish filmmaker Armando de Ossorio started his foray into horror with an extremely daft yet cheesily amusing vampire comedy with Anita Eckberg as a fashion model [her speciality is modelling swimwear] who discovers she has inherited a castle in another country and the title of Countess. She postpones her wedding to her doctor fiancee to finalize the paperwork on this inheritance, only to discover to her chagrin upon getting there that she is the descendant of a family of aristocratic vampires!

So I take it she is somehow related to Dracula?

However she doesn't like this development and tries to leave, but her vampire uncle and his equally vampiric servants [including one with the biggest chest knockers you've ever seen on a female vampire!] try to initiate her into the family, while her fiancee attempts to stop them...

An extremely stupid script and some unconvincing acting [possibly attributing to the lousy Spanish dubbing - the Italians did their dubbing far, far better] makes this an utter joke, but it is entertaining in a masochistic way and you'll enjoy the sight of fem-vamp chest udders [although you'll only see the cleavage - no actual nudity in the film].

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
