This is what a honeybee swarm looks like moving into a swarm box! There are approximately 30,000-50,000 honeybees in a colony. When a swarm decides to leave its current hive, it splits the colony leaving behind queen cells to ensure the future of the remaining half of the colony that continue to forage and care for the brood in the mean time!
