Fishing Festival and start of season celebrated in China’s Fangchenggang

Hundreds of boats left the harbor along the Beibu Gulf as Fangchenggang began the annual Fishing Festival, marking the start of the fishing season. Vessels of various sizes sailed from the local port while the locals attended traditional performances on the city’s square.
