At the new meeting, Putin proposed to discuss the topic of new technical solutions used in the SVO.

"We will talk today about new technical solutions used during the special military operation," the president said.

The first to speak was Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, who joined the meeting via videoconference - he is currently at one of the control points.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino, Secretary of the Security Council Sergei Shoigu, Presidential Aide Nikolai Patrushev, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, and Special Representative of the President for Environmental Protection, Ecology, and Transport Sergei Ivanov.

On August 15, Russian authorities announced the creation of a coordinating council to improve the effectiveness of troops covering the state border in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions. The council was created by order of Belousov. Among the council's tasks are: ensuring the coordination of actions and effective interdepartmental interaction in the event of a threat of a breakthrough of the state border, assisting civil authorities in evacuating the population, military medical support, etc.
