Judge removed from bench after having teen handcuffed for falling asleep during court field trip
A judge who ordered a teen girl into jail clothes and cuffs on a field trip to his courtroom because she fell asleep will be off the bench to receive "necessary training," officials said.

The girl's mom said her daughter was falling asleep because the family does not have a permanent home right now and are just trying to make ends meet.

"To belittle her in front of the whole world and her friends, to make her feel even more worse about our situation," she said through tears.
