Specialists from Russian firm HeliDrive gave instructions and necessary training for a team of 200 pilots, doctors, nurses, and engineers from Zimbabwe, to handle country’s first-ever air ambulance service.

‘Instead of bringing a patient to the hospital, we can literally bring a hospital to a patient by the means of the helicopter. We already have trained local medics in December, so 16 physicians, nurses and paramedics from Zimbabwe are already trained,’ says the National Air Ambulance Service of Russia Chief Medical Officer.
