EQUALITY v PRIVILEGE

"ASK NOT WHAT YOUR RIGHTS CAN DO FOR YOU,
ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES"

Contrary to popular belief, "Equality" does not meaning everyone gets the exact same thing as everyone else.

“Equality” means you have both Rights AND Responsibilities. If you have Responsibilities without Rights, you have “Oppression”, and if you have Rights without Responsibilities, you have “Privilege”.

That means that someone with 1 Right and 1 Responsibility has the exact same “Equality” as someone with 10 Rights and 10 Responsibilities.

Because, only in a society where Rights are pegged to Responsibilities, will it result in more and more Responsibilities being fulfilled. This society will improve because its citizens have motivation to fulfill the Responsibilities that keep society running, by being REWARDED with Rights.

When Rights are given away regardless of Responsibilities being fulfilled, there is no motivation for the citizens of a society to keep fulfilling responsibilities, and that society will stop running.
