Don’t come into the body of Christ thinking you won’t have to suffer. Part of the equipment God has given us to accomplish His work on earth is longsuffering. When we get out our ourselves and look at longsuffering from God’s perspective, the effects teach us a lesson: there is no crown without the cross, and we are being transformed by the power of God’s new nature deposited in us.
