50th Year Anniversary of 31 / 201 Bushman Bn - Ben Wolff 13 to 15 SEPT at the Voortrekker Monument

31 Battalion was a light infantry battalion in the South African Army and SWATF. The battalion consisted of men recruited from the hunter-gatherer San people - thus becoming known as the "Bushman" Battalion. In this episode, Ben Wolff tells us about his experiences and life inside the elite unit. He was there right at the beginning and learned to speak the San language fluently.
