Bees and Blues - A Chillout Video with Bees

This video is a synthesis between two lovely things : blues and bees. There's nothing more complex about this video.

I'm interested in learning more about bees. Here are some facts I've learned:
• The honeybee queen is female. The worker bees (foraging, nursing, guarding) are also female. The drones (mate with the queen) are male.
• The queen bee lays up to 2000 eggs per day
• Worker bees change roles as they age. They start with cleaning, feeding the brood, then working as foragers.
• Drones mostly just wait around. Eventually, they may be given the chance to mate.
• Drones have no stingers and cannot protect the hive.
• Worker bees can live about six weeks.
• Bees communicate via dance and pheromones. When food is found, a waggle / figure eight dance is performed.
• There is only one queen bee per hive at a time. If the queen bee dies, the hive raises another queen to replace her. Queen bees are sometimes considered deceased if their pheromone levels drop too far.

Great for study, relaxation, sleep, chilling, or just watching bees.
