Welcome to the latest episode of "High Magick Practices"! In this engaging episode, we explore the first part of the self-initiation Neophyte Ceremony within the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, known as "The Opening." This is the temple map-only version, streamlined to showcase the movements to be performed by the Neophyte.

Join us as we guide you through essential steps for purifying your temple using the elements of water and fire. As a Probationer, you'll invoke powerful godforms such as Thmê (Thmei / Tahmay / Ma'at / Themis), along with Isis, Neith, Auramoouth, Nephthys, Thoth, Horus, Anubis, and Osiris, assuming officer forms to prepare for the next stage of the journey: the Initiation.

In this video, while we depict the symbol of Mut, remember that you will actually be invoking the godform Auramoouth during the ceremony. Godforms like Auramoouth empower officers such as the Stolistes to perform their duties effectively. The Stolistes channels Auramoouth’s attributes and energies for the purification process in the Neophyte Grade self-initiation ceremony. Although the godform may be symbolized as Mut, in this opening, you will use Auramoouth as source of the spiritual force essential for the ceremony.
