JD Vance Campaigns in New Kensington, PA

Three House Republicans and military veterans -- Reps. Michael Waltz and Brian Mast of Florida and Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana -- joined 2024 Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance (OH) at a campaign event in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. The three veterans focused their remarks on criticism of 2024 Democratic vice presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz (MN) and his depictions of his service in the National Guard. Also joining the criticism of Gov. Walz was Pat Harrigan, a Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in North Carolina’s 10th Congressional District. During his remarks, Sen. Vance also criticized what he called Gov. Walz’s “stolen valor,” and called on the media to more forcefully question the Harris-Walz campaign on the issue. Sen.
