Ukrainian vehicles get obliterated during failed border incursion attempt

A ‘suicidal mission’ on a checkpoint in Russian territory saw Ukraine lose two vehicles to overwhelming firepower. While Kiev’s surprise incursion into Kursk region saw initial gains, this attempt at the Kolotilovka checkpoint, between Ukraine’s Sumy and Russia’s Belgorod region, was far from reaching its goals.

The ‘mission’ saw a speeding US-made MaxxPro armored fighting vehicle destroyed by a direct hit from an anti-tank missile, followed by another attempt to take the checkpoint, this time with a Ukrainian Kozak armored vehicle.

The Kozak vehicle rammed the checkpoint, only to become stuck on the ‘dragon’s teeth’ barricade, and be pounded into oblivion by FPV drones and Krasnopol precision-guided shells. As the vehicle disappeared under a cloud of smoke and fire, the burnt out remains of the MaxxPro could be seen in the background.
