Addressing the nation on the 78th Independence Day from Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticised nepotism and casteism as detrimental to society and politics. "We need to eliminate caste-based and dynastic politics in India. We aim to bring forward one lakh youth with no political associations in their families as 'Janpratinidhis'. They may join any party, but their fresh perspectives will strengthen India's democracy."
