Agastache foeniculum is called  anise hyssop, blue giant hyssop, fragrant giant hyssop, or the lavender giant hyssop. It is a perennial plant in the mint family. The plant is native to north-central and northern North America. It was used by Native Americans as a remedy for cough,fever and diarrhea and to help wounds heal. The leaves can be used in a tea in potpourri or added to salad.
