Rich and Creamy Tiramisu Recipe
Ingredients:

6 large egg yolks
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup mascarpone cheese (room temperature)
1 1/2 cups heavy cream (cold)
1 1/2 cups brewed espresso (cooled)
2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pack of ladyfingers (savoiardi biscuits)
Unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)
Dark chocolate shavings (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:

Prepare the Creamy Filling:

In a medium heatproof bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar.
Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method) and whisk constantly until the mixture becomes pale and thick (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and let it cool.
Once cooled, gently fold in the mascarpone cheese until smooth and well combined.
Whip the Cream:

In a separate bowl, beat the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated and creamy.
Coffee Soak:

Combine the cooled espresso with coffee liqueur (if using) and vanilla extract in a shallow dish.
Assemble the Tiramisu:

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, making sure they are soaked but not too soggy.
Arrange a layer of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish or a deep serving dish.
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers.
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers on top, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
Chill and Garnish:

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
Before serving, dust the top with a generous amount of unsweetened cocoa powder and garnish with dark chocolate shavings if desired.
