It is too bad people got killed by this plane, but I have to admit I got quite a chuckle out them having a horn blowing because of a problem and they stuffed a pillow into the horn to muffle the warning from the system because they could not turn it off or solve the problem. And it used parachutes for braking. Gotta love it.

Ah yes, the good old days of the fake cold war. "On the 31st of December, 1968, the Tupolev Tu-144 took to the skies for the first time"...it should have been the last time. I can just see the Russians showing off at an air show and crashing this thing. I think it ran on Vodka.
