My great grandfather was a farmer and once grew cabbage and oranges. My grandmothers brother made a good living owning a nursery. It is in my blood to grow and create from the dirt. I currently have one tomato, almost red..... Workin on some stuff....

Lyrics:
[Verse] There’s a barn out back where the corn grows tall, A rusted old truck in the yard where we’d all Run wild and free, as wild as could be, I often think back, how life used to be.

[Verse 2] Momma made sweet tea on those summer days, We'd sit on the porch, watch the sky turn to gray, She’d sing us a tune ‘bout delta dawn and pain, And I’d dream under stars of a grander domain.

[Chorus] I guess I'll always wonder, how life would be, If momma would have raised me, a little more country, With boots on my feet and a hat on my head, Living life by the sun, and the words she had said.

[Verse 3] We’d gather around, at the old church hall, Sunday best on, giving thanks for it all, From morning ‘til night, life's lessons unfold, The tales of my youth, worth their weight in gold.

[Verse 4] Fishing on the river, with my Grandpa Joe, He’d tell me of days before radio, Simple and strong, they weathered the fight, Momma's hard work, in every dim light.

[Chorus] I guess I'll always wonder, how life would be, If momma would have raised me, a little more country, With boots on my feet and a hat on my head, Living life by the sun, and the words she had said.
