250 to 151 pounds | How’d I gain it and how’d I lose it? | Thanks Mounjaro.

I’ve always had trouble with my weight. I wasn’t the fattest kid in school, but I was certainly in the top 10. Here’s my story of how I gained it all up to 250 pounds….and then how I came to lose all that weight. Mounjaro is a big part of my success. Huge even. My blood glucose and A1C numbers were also excellent while on Mounjaro. My A1C dropped from 10.6 to 5.4 in under 3 months. My glucose went from 475 to 90-100 in that time. Amazing.

THE UPDATE: 14 August 2024, Wednesday
Starting blood sugar: 474 (BM- Before Mounjaro)
Blood sugar average this week (week 39): 134
Blood sugar average last week (week 38): 136
Weight this week (Week 39): 151 lbs
Weight last week (Week 38): 151.2lbs
Gain/loss this week: -.2 lbs

Starting weight 225-250 lbs (not real sure as I stopped getting on the scale past the 220 lbs milestone. Denial is a real thing y’all). Starting weight day 1 of Mounjaro (Week 1) 185-190 lbs. Began Mounjaro for the Type 2 diabetes primarily.

I’m now trying to maintain my weight at between 155 and 165 lbs.
