Are You Wielding The Sword of the Spirit?

It is revelational to see what the “sword of the Spirit” is a reference to when comparing these passages: Ephesians 6:17-18; Jude 1:20; 1 Corinthians 14:4,14. No wonder Paul says at the end of 1 Corinthians 14, “Do not forbid to speak in tongues”! The enemy has been trying to shut this phenomena down for thousands of years.

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word (ῥῆμα) of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit (ἐν Πνεύματι), being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—”
Ephesians 6:17-18 NKJV

“But you, beloved, building (ἐποικοδομέω) yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, (ἐν Πνεύματι Ἁγίῳ)”
Jude 1:20 NKJV

“He who speaks in a tongue edifies (οἰκοδομέω) himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.”
I Corinthians 14:4 NKJV

It’s hard to deny when you consider the Greek grammar.
