I learned how to play guitar on an "Odessa" acustic guitar I got by trading it for a printer. The guy who taught me was named, "Randy Crowley", and he came from Colorado. I was 19 yrs old and living at home with my mom. Not much of a successful teenager, and the adult part wasn't looking so optimistic. When I got that guitar all those years ago I knew if I dedicated my time, I would be famous. The kind of famous Nickelback might call a 'Rockstar". A 15 person tub, sure why not. Of course I never ended up in the big times but I did Play my first open mic night at a place called "Le' bon ton roule". It was on grace ave. and I was terrified. After singing a song for 10 years of my life (half at the time) I completely stumped on the words. The people were real nice and kept going back. It made me have to face myself, get better and put in work. And hell I am kinda famous, your reading this aren't you?

The chords are:

[verse]

bm G D

[chorus]

bm G D x3
Em G D

I am pretty sure this is the chord chart. Standard E tuning.

Lyrics:

[Verse] Strings are worn and fingers bleed, Dreams are wild I live the need, Riffs at night the moon's my guide, Voices echo from deep inside
[Verse 2] Chasing dreams down dusty roads, Heavy hearts and heavy loads, Found my song in twilight's glow, Music's magic starts to show
[Chorus] This is the sound of my guitar, Never thought it would get me far, Always playing in the smoky air, This music life isn't always fair
[Bridge] Tales of love and tales of woe, In every note my stories flow, Heartfelt cries in every chord, In this sound my soul's restored
[Chorus] This is the sound of my guitar, Never thought it would get me far, Always playing in the smoky air, This music life isn't always fair.
[Verse 3] Under neon lights I play, Lost in music night and day, Crowds may come and crowds may go, But this guitar is all I know
[Chorus] This is the sound of my guitar, Never thought it would get me far, Always playing in the smoky air, This music life isn't always fair.
