A captured Ukrainian soldier has made a shocking revelation about the recent military incursion into Russia's Kursk Region. Ruslan Poltoratsky, a 26-year-old member of Ukraine’s 80th Air Assault Brigade, disclosed that his unit received orders to target civilians and execute those carrying arms. In a video released by Moscow’s FSB, Poltoratsky claims his commander instructed troops to “shoot men in their legs and throw them into a root cellar or basement,” and “kill them if armed.” He also detailed instances of looting and described the operation as Ukraine’s “last hope.” The accusations raise serious concerns about the conduct of the offensive and the treatment of civilians.
