The event on the 6th is a bit unique. The meet up will be like a "bar crawl". We will meet at three consecutive locations ALL ON THE SAME BLOCK. Over a six hour period. The reason for this is that I could not find a venue that would take us for as many hours as we need. I have found that people want to talk and talk and talk and it can go on for hours. So I thought, well, why not "bar hop" and only spend 2 hours in each place and not have to pay for a room? I found a pizza place with a private room that you can reserve for free, but only for two hours. However, right next to the pizza place is a great coffee shop that makes homemade pie! And on the same block is a great brew pub. So, I am trying to keep this simple: From 4-6 -- cafe with handmade pie From 6-8 -- pizza joint with decent pizza and a private room From 8-10 -- brew pub which lets you bring in outside food If people want it to go even later, then there are several dive bars in the area to choose from! So, here are the details. I put in an image of each location of the crawl. Then I added one for the Montavilla Neighborhood. Then one for Portland in general.... just use as you find appropriate! Most people, if asked to prove that the earth is round, would not even bother to produce the rather weak arguments I have outlined above. They would start off by saying that ‘everyone knows’ the earth to be round, and if pressed further, would become angry. In a way Shaw is right. This is a credulous age, and the burden of knowledge which we now have to carry is partly responsible.

I live in a Magic Show with many Creative Forces Hiding God but I am in it for The Long Haul because I am more than another Soul in the System. The Lost Nail awakened me from blind trust in the Coat of Credibility, using my New Eyes and Depth Perception. I visit the Empty Theaters and admire Byrd Wall and all of the misguided Map Makers inhabiting the ol Status Quo when we are all truly dreaming of Shell Beach.
