Blake Lively is addressing the creative differences she faced while working on the upcoming film It Ends With Us, amidst circulating rumors of a feud between her and the film’s director, Justin Baldoni. Lively, who took on both acting and producing roles for the movie, offered some insight into the challenges she encountered during production.

One instance where Blake stood firm in her creative vision was her decision to include Lana Del Rey's song "Cherry" in the final cut of the film. In an interview with Hits Radio UK, Lively shared that there was significant pushback against including the song. "They begged me to take that song out of the movie," she admitted, before quickly adding, "I'm not supposed to be talking about this."

As for why some wanted the song removed, Blake explained that the concern was about the song's intense emotional charge. The film, an adaptation of Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel, follows Lively’s character, Lily Bloom, as she navigates a complex and abusive relationship with Riley, a charismatic neurosurgeon played by Baldoni, while also reconnecting with her first love, Atlas, portrayed by Brandon Sklenar.
