Nestled in the foothills of Mount Everest, Kathmandu serves as a perfect launching point for treks throughout Nepal. Its a city full of backpackers shops and touristy cafes, but also bustling with the life and culture of local Nepalese. It’s a beautiful culture and the city is full of adventure. I was last here in 2015, to do earth quake relief, so when I had an opportunity to come back, even just for a few days, I took it. I wanted to see how the city had been rebuilt and see the city through a touristic lens. There is so much to do in Kathmandu, and here’s how it went…
