Gentex is celebrating the company's 50th anniversary by hosting a public fireworks

Gentex, which is the largest employer in Ottawa County, originally started as a fire protection business but has since grown into a technology leader in the automotive, aerospace, fire protection and medical industries. The company is hosting a block party at Holland Civic Center on Thursday evening with live music, free food, carnival games and more. Then following the party, a 30-minute firework show which will be set to music will light up the skies at Kollen Park.
