If you feel like time is passing by quickly, you are probably not living in the present moment.

Especially if you feel regret and sadness after the passage, that means you have not lived in the present moment and now regret not utilizing the time you had to the fullest.

Time is always constant, it's how we perceive and utilize it to the fullest that makes us either happy or sad about it.

So if you are in the present moment, having fun and living life to the fullest, at that moment you feel like time is slowing down but time moves fast. And you don't have any regrets about the passing of time.

But if you are not living in the present moment, and despise every minute, time will seem like it's going very slow but with time you feel immense regret and guilt for not utilizing it to the fullest.

We think money is the most important thing in the world, but it's actually time.

You can make all the money in the world, and gain status and fame.

But..... nothing beats the feeling of being 8 years old for the first time and just playing with your friends all day on a hot summer day.

That time is never coming back, even if you try your best to recreate it, it's not the same feeling.

Certain things have to be done at a certain age.

So make the best of each and every day and seize the moment. So when time passes at least you look back with happiness.

You have 100% control of this, so make the best out of this.

And in the end, don't be sad it's over; smile because it happened.
