The News of Today is the History of Tomorrow

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) So remember Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio saying Cackles would get 2 weeks of good polling? I think more like four, but even then Cackles is cracking. CNBC has Trump +2, Rasmussen has Trump +5, in the swing states Basham's Democracy Project has Trump +2 in Pennsylvania, 3 in Michigan, and 4 in Wisconsin. Marquette has Trump +1 with registered voters in Wisconsin, =1 with "likely" voters. And this poll has Trump ahead of Cackles with New York Jewish voters.

2) Tampon Timmy's "stolen valor" issues are not going away. J.D. Vance laid into him, even before it was discovered that he misleadingly said his "battalion" had deployed to Afghanistan, suggesting he went with them. He did not. He was safe in Italy. And one of my favorite libs, Ruy Teixeira, warns that just "appearing" to move to the middle isn't the same thing as having policies that appeal to the middle, and that it's risky. Cackles ain't doin' much better. Even after supporting an arms embargo against Israel in Detroit, she still got heckled.

3) In an important senate race, Tim Sheehy in Montana is up 2 over Testicles (John Tester). He has always proven resilient but this may be the year to oust him. To me, right now, this race IS the Senate. We will win West Virginia, so Montana would be +2 and a majority plus Vance as a tie breaker.

4) A conservative group brought a new lawsuit against Maricopa County for voter fraud in the 2020 election, with "discrepancies" numbering 107,000 (Trump "lost" by about 11,000). Meanwhile the RNC scored a major victory in Nevada, where it persuaded the Secretary of State to remove 90,000 dead DemoKKKrats, er, "voters," from the rolls.

5) FascistBook's "Race Blind" algorithm backfires, finding 90% of "hate speech" is directed against white men.

6) The follow-on to the B-2 Stealth bomber---which of course will absolutely be needed---is the B-21. Its biggest enemy appears to be expectations.

7) Surprising: the Special Counsel David Weiss says the Crackhead, Hunter, accepted foreign cheddar to "Influence U.S. government agencies." Really? And here I thought it was because he was such a brilliant negotiator.

8) Bobby Kennedy just digging himself in deeper with every new comment about dead animals.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

9) Few surprises here from the great Ryan Burge, as the mainline Protestant denominations---Episcopalean, Presbyterian, and so on---are at the top of the income and education ladder, with Baptists and Pentecostals at the bottom. Two interesting notes: 1) Hindus have joined Jews as high income/high earners and non-denominational evangelicals are also edging into the top.

10) A Utah Koran teacher (admittedly three words you don't usually see together) was charged with sexually abusing a teen, then offering $30,000 to keep quiet.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

11) Wall Street's comeback fell short, dropping another 230 points.

12) One of the fastest growing restaurant chains in America filed for bankruptcy (World of Beer), as Hooters also closes 40 locations.

13) Jamie Dimon of J.P. Morgan Chase still thinks a recession is coming.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

14) This makes a further mockery of the Iraq war, as the Iraqi parliament has moved to legalize "marriages" to nine-year-olds. I assume they mean girls, not goats.

15) NASA can't rescue the two astronauts on the ISS until 2025.

16) Looks like the radical lunatic Muslims really hate Taylor Swift. This Austrian insect wanted to drive a car into a group of teen fans then detonat his suicide vest. Taylor Swift shows in Vienna have since been canceled.

17) The World Energy Council is changing its messaging, but not its message, after a year of "green" disasters.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

18) For those of you who follow gaming---which is now where half our movies are coming from---Warners Bros. Sweet-Baby-influenced game "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" saw revenue falling 41% as gamers said no mas to woke. So Warners, like Disney, is struggling with its woke fecalmatter.

19) Of course, Hoax Newser CNN helped contribute to that $9 billion Waners writedown.

20) Oliver Darcy abruptly quit CNN.

AND FINALLY . . .

21) One of the most tattooed men in the world had multiple surgeries to remove all of them. Good on ya, dude. Ya look like a human again.
