Sad Lab Pup Reluctantly Lets Owner Wash His Paws

We all know that one universal truth - cleanliness is half health. Keeping all those nasty germs off your body can keep you feeling fresh and keep you healthy on the long run, although some doctors say that a little bit of bacteria here and there is actually better that to rub yourself down every chance you get.

This pup seems to know that all too well, because when the time came for his owner to wash his paws after a walk, the pooch fell sad. Why doesn’t the woman understand how important it is to keep an itsy-bitsy bit of grime under your nails?

“Give me your paws,” she tells her pet, as he lay there, in the entryway, with such a deep, forlorn look on his face. She is urging the silly dog that it is important for her to wash his dirty paws, how they have been outside and things should be clean at home. All the Labrador does is ignore her pleas. At one point, the dog sort of budges, as if to try and leave the spot, but she grabs him by the front paw and pulls the washbowl closer. There is no moving now.

Oh, the look of despair on the dog’s face! It is so heartbreaking, but this needs to be done, because we can’t have dirty pawprints all over the floor and furniture. Still, he can’t seem to make himself look her in the face, as she lathers up his paws one by one and talks gently to him. Even when she is done and tell him he is free to go, he shoots her one final look, then proceeds to move to the other side of the hallway, where he plops on the floor to contemplate what just happened.
