Nextdoor Business Idea Driving Schools - Build In Public Day 34

In this video, I analyze a post made by a driving school in Paris.

This is what you can learn from them:

- they got great marketing material
- engaging videos
- they have a good (with emojis) marketing message
- they have a good banner and bio description
- they re-post customer testimonials

But:

- they publish in off-topic groups
- they haven't created their own group precising their operation's zone (ie "East Paris Driving School")
- therefore don't have the proper conversion funnel in place
- they recycle videos from TikTok (better than nothing but not optimal)
- their hashtags could be improved and placed after their message
- they could improve their personal profile by showing the owner's face
- they lack regularity and consistency
- they miss being "friendly neighbor" by posting on other things than their business. This might get annoying for others

Here is my recommended basic strategy to get regular prospects for your business:

1. create your Nextdoor conversion funnel (I covered in previous videos)
2. be a friendly helpful neighbor
3. post regularly 5 to 7 times a week in your own group
4. create engaging videos, images, texts
5. make only one commercial post a week
6. use this simple trick to be the first one to welcome all new members in your neighborhood
