The United States: 🇺🇸 recognized Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara in December 2020 during the administration of President Donald Trump.

Israel: 🇮🇱 recognized Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara in July 2023 after normalizing relations between the two countries.

Spain: 🇪🇸 has not officially recognized Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara, but supports UN efforts to achieve a peaceful, negotiated solution.

France: 🇫🇷 supports the Moroccan autonomy initiative as a serious and realistic solution, but it has not officially recognized Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara.

Germany: 🇩🇪 also supports UN efforts for a peaceful solution, and does not recognize Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara.

The Arab Gulf states: 🌍 🇴🇲 🇸🇦 🇦🇪 🇧🇭 🇶🇦 Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Qatar support Morocco's position on Western Sahara, and some have opened consulates in major cities in Western Sahara (Laayoune and Dakhla) as a signal of political support.

Jordan: 🇯🇴 supports Morocco in the Western Sahara conflict and opened a consulate in Laayoune.

Africa: 🌍 There is a division within the African Union on the issue of Western Sahara. Some African countries, such as Senegal and Ivory Coast, support Morocco's position, while others, such as Algeria and South Africa, support the Polisario Front and support self-determination for the Sahrawi people.

The European Union: 🇪🇺 supports UN efforts to find a lasting, negotiated political solution to the conflict. Although some European countries support Morocco's autonomy initiative, the European Union as a bloc has not officially recognized Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara.

Russia and China: 🇷🇺 🇨🇳 Both support UN efforts to resolve the conflict peacefully, and consider the conflict a complex issue that requires a negotiated solution.#Western Sahara
