Graduating from East Paulding High School in 1996 and later earning Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Criminology and Sociology, Ashley's dedication to public service began with her joining the Paulding County Sheriff's Office in 2002 under Sheriff Bruce Harris.

Throughout her career, Ashley has excelled in various roles, from handling law enforcement K-9 operations to serving as a sniper team leader and Public Information Officer. Her extensive training and certifications, including P.O.S.T. SWAT Officer Certification and active shooter training instruction, showcase her expertise and dedication to keeping Paulding County safe.
