Why does the Bible call Jesus the "Great High Priest?" There have been many High Priests, but only one "Great." What makes Jesus the Great High Priest? Why does the Bible make this distinction?

Jesus is so good to His children that he satisfied the only thing that really matters, our eternal punishment. Nothing else really matters. If Jesus blesses us with health and prosperity, those will eventually perish but our eternal destiny will never perish.

Jesus understands you because he suffered everything you will ever suffer. Hunger, thirst, homelessness, family rejection, beatings, etc, He's suffered all these and more. No other high priest has suffered everything you and everyone else have suffered.
