Risk of venous thromboembolism following influenza vaccination

Influenza-like illness and inflammation are known risk factors for venous thromboembolism (VTE), which includes deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism
(PE). However, few studies have characterized the risk of VTE following influenza vac-cination.

This is what happened to my mother in-law after her flu shot she never recovered. I noticed her lips were blue. Ended up on oxygen. Doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her until it was too late. She died because of a pulmonary embolism.
