Texas A&M hurdler took first in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2019 SEC Track & Field Championships by leaping across the finish line and landing on his face. Infinite Tucker, a junior from Long Island, became a viral sensation as video of Saturday's remarkable finish made its way around social media. Tucker, who finished second in the same race in 2017, held the lead after the final hurdle, but lost his advantage to teammate Robert Grant a few steps later. As the two approached the finish line, Tucker leapt forward, extending his arms to win the race. 'Look, I closed my eyes over hurdle 10. I opened it, saw my ma at the finish, and I jumped to give her a hug,' Tucker told ESPN after the race. 'That's all it is.' Tucker braced his fall, somewhat, with his hands, but the majority of the impact seemed to be absorbed by his face. Grant knelt over him for a moment after the race before training staff could tend to Tucker, whose time of 49.38 was the best collegiate mark of the year
