Next Pandemic Around the Corner: New Zealand Releases Interim Pandemic Plan

The NZ government has released an Interim Update (July 2024) to their Pandemic Plan of 2017.

It has caused a level of alarm amongst citizens interpreting it in a climate of fear that more lockdowns and mandates are planned. In this interview with radio host Paul Brennan on Reality Check Radio, lawyers Kirsten Murfitt and Katie Ashby-Koppens give some rational interpretation of the plan. It clearly follows the World Health Organization One Health narrative seeking totalitarian control and threading pandemic ideology throughout all-of-government and all-of-society. It needs to be replaced with something more rational. The Leeds University Re-Evaluating the Pandemic Preparedness And REsponse agenda (REPPARE) research project offers critical analysis of pandemic ideology, evidence and the rational approach which can be taken.
