The Atlanta Falcons were busy this offseason by hiring Raheem Morris as their new head coach and signing Kirk Cousins to a massive 4 year, $180 million contract.
But the most shocking move the Falcons made this offseason came from the 2024 NFL draft where with the 8th overall pick they took QB Michael Penix Jr. No one projected him to be a top 10 pick and it left fans confused on why they signed Cousins in the offseason if the plan was to draft a QB in the draft.
