Apatros Review Ep-0092: Demolition University [1997]

AR-0092: The sole sequel to the "Die Hard in a high school" flick Corey Haim did with director Jim Wynorski [I have been unable to track down the original film so I won't be covering it here], this fairly by-the-numbers followup has experienced counterterrorism operative Lenny Slater fooling his way into a field trip to the local water-&-power plant in order to escape his university's jocks, only to find himself the perfect foil to a band of Iraqi terrorists aided by a sociopathic US special ops turncoat who plan to unleash a very nasty bioweapon into the local water supply...

Cue a lot of running around industrial plant corridors, one of those cherished staples of 1990s DTV [direct-to-video] action flicks.

Not the worst Die Hard Alike you're going to come across [& not the worst I have - I have already covered the worst in that category long ago], but it could have used some significant improvement...

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
