Ram Pump Impetus Foot Valve Weights Comparison Flow Test Delivery Line

This video is a series of tests on my 1.5 inch ram pump comparing different adjustments of the foot valve that is the impetus valve for this pump. With the use of different weights, I am able to adjust the "stroke" frequency of the valve. I test 3 different scenarios of adjustment to determine which delivers the most volume up at the barn which is about 60 vertical feet and over 800 linear feet distant from the pump. The pump is fed with 6.5 feet of head and has an open-flow supply line capacity of 42 GPM on the inlet, at the standpipe that serves it.
