Plane crashes in Brazil’s Sao Paulo state, killing all 61 aboard, airline says

On Friday, a passenger plane operated by VOEPASS, an ATR 72-500 twin-engine turboprop, crashed into a gated residential community in Vinhedo, Sao Paulo state, Brazil. The plane was en route to Sao Paulo's Guarulhos International Airport with 57 passengers and 4 crew members on board. Tragically, all 61 individuals on the flight perished in the accident. Despite the crash occurring in a residential area, there were no reported casualties among the residents of Vinhedo. VOEPASS has expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and is working closely with authorities to investigate the cause of the crash.
