Yes, let me add "educator" to my list. After 30 years in the public school system, I retired this summer. My journey was filled with spiritual battles, but through the grace of Jesus, I persevered. Teaching is a ministry given to me by God, and I am deeply thankful for every child, family, and colleague I had the privilege to guide closer to the Lord. Although I was ready to retire, leaving the children behind was challenging, especially as things have deteriorated so rapidly. I pray for all children in public schools, asking for a hedge of protection over them.
