Did you know that on the iPhone, in the regular phone app, there is now the ability to record phone calls not only with FaceTime but also with regular calls over the cellular network? A Record Call button has appeared in the upper left corner. It starts after 3 seconds, but beforehand, Siri will inform the person on the other end of the line that the conversation will be recorded, and a nice animation will appear. After the call ends or the Stop button is pressed, the recording will automatically be saved in the Notes app. The transcription feature will also be available in English; in Russian, you will only be able to view the recording. You can listen to it, as well as save it in the Files app or share it through the regular share menu. The feature will be available in iOS 18.1 this fall, but it is already available for beta testing. However, you need Siri in English, the system language in English, and the American region. But most likely, the feature will only work with smartphones that support Apple Intelligence, namely the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, and newer device versions.
