The NFL has handed down its punishment to the Giants and Lions

New York and Detroit were each fined 200-thousand dollars due to more than a dozen scuffles that broke out over two days of joint practices between the teams. The NFL reminded all teams in a memo last month that fighting and "unprofessional conduct" during joint practices would not be tolerated.
