I’m so excited to share this bread with you Gingis. Aloo Paratha is not just super delicious bread, it is also very easy bread to make. Aloo Paratha is a potato stuffed flatbread originated from Punjab region in India. While traveling to India a couple of years ago, I remember myself enjoying this perfect breakfast every morning with the locals.

This bread is made with white whole wheat flour and stuffed with mashed potatoes, spices and herbs. The way it blows when baked is so exciting, and it is due to the steam coming out from the potato filling while baked! It makes you happy like a kid, and it’s amazing.

Ingredients:
For the dough-
500 gr white whole wheat flour
300 gr lukewarm water
50 gr vegetable oil
10 gr salt

For the filling-
5 medium size potato
2 tsp salt
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 bunch of cilantro
